MassMATCH, the Assistive Technology Act Project in Massachusetts, has some exiting new programs coming on line this year. MassMATCH, stands for "Maximizing Assistive Technology in Consumer's Hands," and was established by the AT Act Advisory Council, in conjunction with the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC). MRC has been designated the Assistive Technology lead state agency for the AT Act grant activities in Massachusetts.

In January, the Assistive Technology Exchange Program opened in the New England region.  The site, www.getatstuff.org, is an on-line listing of AT items for sale or for free in the New England region.

At this site you can shop for a needed device or post an item for sale that you no longer need. It's like an AT porch sale! So be sure to visit and register to enjoy all the benefits of the exchange program.
