AUDIENT Alliance Formed to Meet Hearing Needs of Low-Income Clients |
Sharon Kerpel with Audient Alliance, a nationwide project launced by Northwest Lions Club, is eager to collaborate with AT Loan Funds throughout the United States. The Alliance offers several lines of hearing aids at a significantly reduced cost to low income individiuals. As Sharon notes, these are appropriate for individuals with moderate to moderate-severe hearing loss. The client will need to work with their local provider in order to obtain their hearing aids.
AUDIENT Quality Hearing Aids and Care offers the following hearing aids at a significantly reduced cost for low income indivuals nationwide, which are appropriate for moderate to moderate-severe hearing loss:

Qualifications & Costs:
(1) AUDIENT Candidates must be income qualified according to chart below:
48 Contiguous States & D.C.

2 $33,000
3 $41,500
*For each additional person, add $8,500. Contact AUDIENT for income guidelines outside the 48 Contiguous States & D.C.
(2) AUDIENT will refer qualified participant(s) to an AUDIENT Hearing Care Provider in their area.
(3) All AUDIENT participants will pay AUDIENT fees: $760 to $900 for one hearing aid or $1,290 to $1,500 for two hearing aids.
**This cost includes: hearing aid(s), ear mold(s), a fitting, three adjustments and a limited warranty. (The provider may charge additional fees for other follow up services and/or replacements and repairs) |
