Dynavox Demo Sesson
at the DLRC

We have a great opportunity for a private in-service from Dynavox.   The
DLRC hosts Matthew Rosner, the new regional representative from Dynavox.
He will demonstrate the new and old AAC systems from Dynavox.

I have already heard from many of you regarding your attendance.  Please
share the news with others and let me know if who can make it to Boston
for our Dynavox event on Tuesday, January 8th, 2007.  Again, let's say
10 am to cut down on the time anyone will spend commuting with the rest
of Boston!
Inquire further about Dynavox at www.dynavoxtech.com

I look forward to seeing you all.  Call with any further questions!

Alliance for Technology Access

 "Envision a World in Which"
ATA National Public Service Announcement

As part of its 20th Year Anniversary, the Alliance for Technology Access (ATA) launches a "public service announcement" (PSA) competition to build awareness about the potential of assistive technology for people with disabilities.  The ATA invites interested media designers, teachers and students to create a public service campaign using the theme, "Envision a World in Which" that highlights
the use and value of assistive technology.

By sponsoring this national design contest, The Alliance for Technology
Access seeks creative designs involving two of the three following
formats:
(1) print ad suitable for use in newspaper, magazine, or billboards,
(2) a 30-second audio suitable for radio spot, and a
(3) 30- second broadcast video.

All entries must be received by February 15, 2008.  The winning entry
will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and will be eligible for use in a
national PSA campaign.

Go to http://www.ataccess.org for all - rules and entry forms.
