Easter Seals MA - Reminder! Android: Apps, Answers & AT

Learn how Android Devices are both different from and similar to iDevices. Learn the basic steps for proper care and use of your new Android device. Share tips, tricks and the latest apps on how to make your Android accessible!

Presenters:

Steven Kessler, MA, Assistive Technology Specialist. Steven joined Easter Seals after completing a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from Assumption College in 2007. While at Assumption Steve worked as an assistant in the Information Technology department and developed excellent computer technical support skills. He utilizes those skills, along with his counseling knowledge to provide individualized solutions for a wide range of consumers.

Eric Oddleifson, MSOT, OTR/L, ATP, Clinical Director. Eric has been an occupational therapist and an assistive technology practitioner for the past eight years. He worked at an inpatient hospital facility on the neuro-rehabilitation unit before coming to Easter Seals in 2003. He works with a diverse group of clients of many ages, focusing on increasing independence in the workplace and at home through the use of adaptive computer systems.

All activities are held at the Easter Seals Technology and Training Center, 256 Union Street, New Bedford, MA and are free and open to the public, thanks to Easter Seals MA and the support of the City of New Bedford Community Development Block Grant.
