Maryland Department of Disabilities Technology Assistance Program Non-Visual Access to Websites Survey |
The Maryland General Assembly (State Legislature) asked the Maryland Department of Disabilities (MDOD) to report on the possibility of an income tax credit to make business websites accessible in order to increase accessibility for the blind and visually impaired. We are exploring ways on how a State incentive program could work, with the goal of subsidizing the cost of website modifications for the blind and visually impaired. MDOD is conducting this survey to see whether any similar incentives exist in other states.
We are requesting that you please take a moment to complete the survey here. Thank you in advance. About the Maryland Technology Assistance Program Our mission is to enhance the lives of all Marylanders with disabilities, older Marylanders, and their families by helping support access to assistive technology (AT) devices and services.
