15th Annual Fall Workshop Strategies and Resources for Developing Inclusive Programs for Students with Visual Impairments in General Education Environments

This two-day workshop is appropriate for: Classroom Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Administrators, and Related Service Providers who are involved in the assessment, development and implementation of specialized services for students who are visually impaired or blind.
Information and resources will be presented through exhibits, hands-on demonstrations, discussion and Q&A.
Topics will include:
- Access to the General Education Curriculum
- Assessment, Instruction, Consultation
- Expanded Core Curriculum
- Independent Learning Skills
- Instructional Materials and Methods
- Mainstream and Adaptive Technologies
- Safe and Independent Travel Skills
- Transitions from 3-21 years
