Read&Write Gold ToolMatcher!
Read and Write Gold, from TextHelp, is popular software for supporting students with tools for reading, writing, study skills, and research. Many schools and school systems have invested in TextHelp, but not everyone is up and running with what is available for individual student needs. To help, TextHelp has created the Read&Write Gold ToolMatcher! Here you can create a customized user guide for individual students by simply checking off the supports that match a student's needs. The ToolMatcher creates a list of links students and educators can use to learn the Read&Write Gold tools (video overviews for each feature). Users also have the option to download a report of these accommodations for use with an IEP team, and the ability to send a link to the report to team members. Once you have matched the tools to the student, there is also a tutorial provided for how to create a customized Read&Write toolbar for just these supports.
