1. Getting off the Ground with Proloquo2Go: Hands-On Workshop

This three hour hands-on workshop is designed to get you up and running with Proloquo2Go, the popular augmentative communication app. We will cover basic skills such as choosing vocabulary options, settings, creation and customization of pages, linking pages and backing up, restoring and sharing your customized vocabulary. An overview of Proloquo2Go's scanning capabilities will be provided. Finally, we will discuss strategies for success to help your user get the most out of their AAC system. This workshop is appropriate for parents, speech-language pathologists, teachers, staff from adult day programs and anyone else who would like to get up and running with Proloquo2Go.

Attendees must bring their own iPad. Please be sure your device has operating system iOS 7 or higher, and that you have the most recent version of Proloquo2Go (version 3.0).

Learning Outcomes:
*List three editing functions
*Name three ways to customize Proloquo2Go for an individual user
*Name two ways to share communication boards


2. iPads for Adults with Developmental Disabilities

This workshop would be ideal for employees of day habilitation centers and residential homes for adults with developmental disabilities, parents and caregivers of adults with developmental disabilities.

iPads for Adults with Developmental Disabilities will focus on some of the accessibility features of the iPad such as large print, speak selection and guided access as well as free and low cost (under $15) Apps to enhance the lives of people with developmental disabilities to live, learn, work and play.

Learning Outcomes:
*List at least two apps that will enhance the live(s) of your clients/adult children.
*Show how to enter the accessibility section of settings
