Thanks to Judith Kuster on the QIAT Listserv for this tip

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is offering 15 free online courses for 15 months to ASHA members and non-members.

The first course is available July 1st - 30th, "An Overview of the AAC Assessment Process" and provides .05 CEUs. From the website: "You'll learn to apply a detailed assessment process-and utilize handy assessment tools-to make informed, client-centered AAC recommendations to improve your patients' or students' ability to communicate."

Another of interest to school-based SLPs will be available from October 1st - 31st, 2015: "Speech-Language Goals that Reflect the CCSS (and Extended Standards)." Again from the website: "You'll walk away with ideas for CCSS-related goals and intervention activities that fit various levels of comprehension, and you'll feel more confident writing clear, standards-based IEP goals."

Check out the complete offerings at this ASHA.org web page.
