OneTab Browser Extension is Great for Researchers!

Here is a Chrome and Firefox extension for student researchers that you will likely never want to do without yourself. It might also help save the planet: OneTab.

Many of us have trouble shutting down our laptops because we don't want to lose all those open tabs. You're in the middle of a project and you've drilled your way to different useful articles following links upon links. Suddenly you need to go! Just select the OneTab icon on your browser and your tabs are all collected as a saved list of URLs. Now power down!

Below is a screen shot example of a OneTab page.

Two lists of URLs that are dated. Shows options to restore all_ delete all_ share as a web page and more.
Your list displays each time you select the icon. OneTab also archives URLs from previous sessions (stamped with date and time). Each link is clickable or all may be restored or deleted as a batch. There are also share options.

Students can also use OneTab as they work to help speed up their computers (less tabs open at once).
