Assistive Technology Expo to Feature Demonstrations, Workshops

People with disabilities, their families and support professionals can learn about the latest assistive technology at the Assistive Technology Expo, which will be held April 3 at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Easter Seals is the host for the expo, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the UMass Boston Campus Center.  The event will feature demonstrations and workshops.  Assistive technology vendors also will be on hand to answer questions.

Assistive technology includes high- and low-tech devices that enable children and adults with disabilities to live, learn, work and play more independently.

The expo is sponsored by the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission and MassMATCH. Registration forms and information for exhibitors are available on line at www.eastersealsma.org
