Regulation Update: Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Section 255 of the
Telecommunications Act

Timothy Creagan, Senior Accessibility Specialist, US Access Board
 
Regulations governing the accessibility of electronic and information technology
(Section 508 of the Rehab Act and telecommunications products and equipment covered
(Section 255 of the Telecommunications Act) and have been part of an on-going review
and update by the US Access Board since September 2006. The Advisory Committee
submitted its final report to the Board in the spring of 2008. Join this session to learn more about the proposed changes and the process for implementing them.
 
How:
This session is delivered by telephone (call in to a toll free phone number). The session is also offered in real-time captioning on the web and streaming audio on the web. Participants are in "listen-only" mode until the question and answer period.
