Remarkable Vision Solutions are Coming to a City Near You.
A FREE public awareness forum on vision loss is coming soon to two Massachusetts cities. There are still seats available for Freedom Scientific's Vision Awareness Days being held January 20 in Pittsfield and January 21 in Boston.
These events feature information and presentations about low vision technology and resources for school, workplace, and home. Participants will learn about local vision rehabilitation programs and be introduced to screen magnification technology, the benefits of video magnifiers, scanning and reading devices, and multiple-view magnification cameras.
If you live or work in or near either these cities, you'll want to register today for one of these FREE seminars. Events are scheduled for:
- January 20 at the United Cerebral Palsy Assistive Technology
Demonstration & Loan Center, located at 208 West Street in Pittsfield.
- January 21 at New England Eye, located at, 930 Commonwealth Ave in
Boston.

Similar Freedom Scientific seminars are taking place in cities across the United States, but these are the only stops scheduled in these cities. The sessions are designed for those experiencing any degree of vision loss, as well as for anyone who works with, teaches, or is a caregiver of someone with vision loss. These events feature lots of important information, topical discussions, and hands-on demonstrations of technology that helps people live well with vision loss.
Each day has two separate sessions. The hours for the morning sessions are 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the hours for the afternoon sessions are 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Refreshments will be provided. You are encouraged to bring friends and co-workers.
