Call for Presentations
Assistive Technology Expo
Easter Seals is scheduled to offer an assistive technology exposition on April 9, 2009. The Exposition will be held at the Plymouth, Massachusetts Radisson Hotel. At this time we are looking for presentation proposals to consider for the exposition. All presentations will be 90 minutes long.
Deadline for submission is: January 9, 2009
The following information is needed for presentation proposals:
Presentation title:
Presenter name, title and credentials: Please provide your name and title as you would like it to appear in the Exposition program guide.
Target audience: Please describe consumers, professionals or family members who would most benefit from information presented.
Presentation description: Please provide a description of your presentation for the program guide. Note that descriptions may need to be edited to 50 words.
Learning Outcomes: Please provide measureable learner outcomes. Here is a list of outcomes used for previous presentations to use as a guide.
List 2 different uses for speech generating devices:
Describe the task analysis process
Identify ways in which to select devices including access methods and operation
Presenter Biography: Please provide us with a professional biography. (Maximum length 50 words)
Presenter contact information (phone, email, cell phone)
Audio/visual needs: Please list all items that you may need.
