Assistive Technology Reuse continues to grow as a national priority.  Over 175 AT Reuse programs have been established to assist people with disabilities and their circles of support to exchange or refurbish AT that they no longer use. Others are seeking affordable, used AT to meet their needs.  In our school systems we are seeing how AT that belongs to one student may not necessarily follow them after graduation or a switch in schools.  We also see how sometimes AT can't be transferred from on school system to another.  The result is shelves full of AT that can benefit students if they could just use it.  Join us as we discuss how The Pass It On Center has been exploring ways to effectively reuse AT within school systems, whether by exchange, partnering with a local AT program or utilizing a database platform.  We will be joined by leaders in the AT Reuse Community who are effectively working with school systems to use reused AT, such as Vermont's AT School Swap and others.  We need your input and want to start a dialogue of ideas and exchanges of how this can become a reality.
