This is an overview of implementing speech recognition software for high school students. The presentation will cover Dragon Naturally Speaking for PC computers and Dragon Dictate for Macintosh computers. Other options that will be discussed are Windows 7 built-in speech recognition and the program Speak Q.

This workshop will focus on low cost assistive technology that can be sued to help elderly individuals maintain their independence in the home and community at large.
