IntelliKeys: Helping Children and Adults Access Computers
Photo of IntelliKeys keyboardsIntelliKeys® is an adaptable, alternative keyboard designed to meet the needs of children and adults who have difficulty using a traditional keyboard.   Recently re-engineered, IntelliKeys is a touch-sensitive keyboard, but unlike standard keyboards with a fixed set of keys, the configuration of IntelliKeys can be easily changed by sliding different overlays onto its surface. Using Overlay Maker®, a software solution that produces customized overlays, the keyboard can be customized to accommodate the access needs of people with physical and cognitive disabilities.

For over 20 years, IntelliKeys adapted keyboards, along with other IntelliTools products, have bridged the technology gap in schools, home, rehab and work settings. IntelliKeys' flexibility and versatility have led to applications far beyond its traditional use in classrooms. IntelliKeys enables computer access to:
  • Students with physical or cognitive disabilities
  • Adults recovering from accidents or illness
  • Seniors with mobility and vision limitations
  • Employers with disabled employees
  • People with low vision
  • Libraries who wish to provide access to all
IntelliKeys is produced by IntelliTools, Natick MA. For more information, see www.IntelliTools.com or contact Lauren Schuler at lauren.schuler@cambiumtech.com.
