Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has an Assistive Technology Fund Program to pay for the purchase of one hearing aid. This is a last resort source for funding. The income guideline is one hearing aid per person. Income must be below $60,000. They do require proof of income, last year's tax return or a letter from Social Security that no income tax is due.
