The Assistive Technology Regional Center (ATRC) in Pittsfield, operated by UCP of Berkshire County is a mandated component of the federal Assistive Technology Act Program in Massachusetts known as MassMATCH. The purpose of the ATRC is to let potential assistive technology users "try-out" devices prior to purchase, have access to a backup system when their device is in for repairs, and have access to a device while waiting for their device to be delivered. All demonstration and loan services provided in the Center are free.

Devices are available in the areas of environmental access, aids for daily living, recreation and leisure, blind/low-vision, deaf/hard of hearing, educational/learning aids, communication, mobility aids, computer access, software and accessories.
