Free Text-To-Speech for Math and More!



Central Access Reader (CAR) is a free text-to-speech program that is effective for math notations, equations, and symbols (unlike most screen readers) in addition to text (such as Word). It works with both Mac and Windows operating systems. The program was developed by students at Central Washington University and is growing in popularity.
