Mirror that Interactive Whiteboard with Screenleap!

  Smart Board

Some students have trouble seeing the interactive whiteboard. Conversely, some may want to share their screen to the board. Here's a solution.

  1. Go to Screenleap.com on the computer attached to the interactive whiteboard and click on the "share your screen now" button.
  2. A quick one-time download may be required and then a URL is produced.
  3. Provide the URL to students to access from their browser on their mobile device (tablet, laptop, etc.) Students will see whatever is displayed from the computer running Screenleap! No login is necessary.
  4. Students may also use Screenleap in the same way to produce a URL for sharing with the computer that is connected to the interactive whiteboard.
Screenleap allows for 30 mins of sharing without an account. A FREE account allows for up to 2 hours of sharing/day for teachers and students with confirmed educational email addresses.
