- The Savvy Consumer's Guide to Hearing Loss (PDF)
Written by Karen Rockow, Ph.D, this book is filled with invaluable information for all those who find themselves in the difficult transition from being "hearing" to becoming Deaf or Severely Hard of Hearing. Chapters 5 and 6 are dedicated to AT and Auxilliary services. Written in an informal and entertaining style, the author's first-hand experience with hearing loss shines through. Also available in Word from the Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing website.
